• At any given time, more than 2,400 people reside in Resurrection Health Care's retirement communities and nursing and rehabilitation centers.
  
  
• They are served and cared for by nearly 1,500 dedicated staff members, including nurses, nurses aides, therapists, dietitians, activities staff, pastoral care staff, support personnel and others.
  
  
• Last year, nearly 325 people chose to move into one of our retirement communities.
  
  
• Residents in our rehabilitation and nursing facilities who were admitted for therapy following an illness, surgery or injury stayed an average of less than 41 days.
  
  
• In October 2007, we helped nearly 220 of these residents receive short-term therapy so they could return home quickly.
  
  
• Residents who required therapy in these facilities received nearly 56,000 hours of physical, occupational and/or speech therapies last year.
  
  
• All of Resurrection's nursing and rehabilitation centers are Medicare and Medicaid certified. The Chicago-area facilities are licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health, while our New York facilities are licensed by the New York State Department of Health.
  
  
• Our assisted living facilities - Beechwood Manor at Bethlehem Woods Retirement Community, Resurrection Retirement Community and Saint Andrew Life Center - are licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health to provide assisted living services.
